Nanny’s Pickled Beets
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 4 cups white sugar
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Mix all ingredients together, while stirring to combine.
- Put whole or sliced beets into sterilized jars, and pour the liquid over top.
- Allow to cool, then keep in the refrigerator. Keeps for up to a month.
