Diane's Shrimp Mousse

  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1 pkg cream cheese
  • 2 cans shrimp, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 pkg unflavoured gelatin


  • Sprinkle the gelatin over a small dish of cold water and let it set
  • In a saucepan, heat the tomato soup. Once warm, add the set gelatin.
  • In a large bowl, beat the mayonnaise, cream cheese, and lemon juice
  • Fold the shrimp, celery, and onion into the bowl. Stir to combine
  • Add the tomato mixture into the bowl and combine
  • Pour the mixture into a greased mould and refrigerate until set (at least 6 hours)
  • Unmould and serve with cracker, French bread, or raw vegetables


  • You can substitute light cream cheese or mayonaise without affecting the flavour or consistency of the mousse
