Simply the Best Overnight Buns

This is a family favourite for large gatherings and reunions. Makes a sweet, white bun that is perfect for any sidedish
Ingredients
- 1 package Quick Rise yeast
 - 1 cup white sugar
 - 1 egg
 - 1 tbsp salt
 - 1 cup vegetable oil
 - 4 cups warm water
 - 12-13 cups All-Purpose flour
 
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together oil, warm water, egg, sugar, and salt
 - Mix yeast and flour together in a separate bowl
 - Gradually add the flour mixture to the liquid ingredients
 - Pour the combined dough onto a lightly-floured surface
 - Knead dough for 10 minutes, or until it has reached a very smooth consistency
 - Divide the dough into as many portions as you have bowls
 - Place the dough in greased bowls, cover with tea towels, and let rest for 15 minutes
 - Punch down the dough, then let rise for an hour
 - After the hour, punch down the dough again and shape into buns
 - Place the buns close together in a baking sheet
 - Cover and let rise overnight
 - Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes
 
Notes
This recipe also makes amazing cinnamon buns, at the last rising stage, stack the buns into a bundt pan and add brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter
