Pecan Pie
One of the anchor points in Rebecca & Carson's anniversary dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 pie shell
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF
- In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy, then stir in the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, white sugar and flour, mixing well together. Last, add the milk, vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 400ºF, then reduce temperature to 350ºF and bake for 30–40 minutes, until just set.
