Hamburger Slop

This looks like a dog’s breakfast but it’s amazingly-tasty comfort food
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef, medium or lean
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cup macaroni noodles
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large port, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat
- Add the onion, celery, garlic, and green pepper. Saute until the vegetables are softened
- Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano
- Once the mixture is hot, add in the uncooked macaroni and stir occasionally while it cooks. If the mix gets too dry, add water
- Once the macaroni is cooked, add the Parmesan and cheddar cheese. Continue stirring until all the cheese is melted
- Before serving, taste and adjust seasonings if needed
