Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef, medium or lean
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt

Sauce

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vingegar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • Combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, and salt 
  • Roll the meat into golf ball sized balls and place into a casserole dish
  • In a large bowl, add the sauce ingredients and stir until well-combined
  • Pour the sauce over the raw meatballs and bake in a 350ºF oven for 1 hour
